The Trip

We elected to visit the San Diego Safari Park to the east of Escondido, CA. and test out our new cameras.

Equipment

For this excursion, I used my new Sony Alpha 1 camera with Sony 100-400mm GM automatic zoom lens.   The camera/lens combination did an outstanding job, and it surely met my image quality expectations.

Conclusions and Advice to Travelers

The Safari Park is a nice venue, albeit a bit pricey.  If you plan to go more than one day, a yearly pass is a better deal.  Should you choose to visit in the summer, or on a weekend, be prepared for substantial crowds.
