The Trip

Given the recent death of my father, it seemed appropriate to visit the surviving parent. So, we went to Tucson to visit family and friends. And, since we had not done any "tourist things", we decided to put some local sightseeing on the agenda.

I was born and raised in Tucson, but moved away in the middle 1970s. Things have changed "a bit" since then and the town has really matured. Tucson is tourist-friendly and there are plenty of things to do in town. Be sure to check the options available before you obligate all your vacation time and potentially miss some tasty sights.
